So I read all this information about weight loss and it gets me all confused. I fast walk (4mph) on a treadmill for an hour a day, then I do sixty five situps (i do more everyday) and then 40 pushups (again, more everyday. ) then I do pilates (sorta. I do it for a short while to this denise austin film thing. ) and im so insanely desperate to lose weight. Im 14 and around 170lbs. I want to lose this weight- fast. Then I am (trying) to be vegan, so my diet is mainly vegetables and fruit and 12 cups of water a day and any almonds. So heres my question: On the treadmill I burn around five hundred calories. Then maybe like twenty more with everything else. If im supposed to eat 1000 calories a day to avoid starvation, how am I supposed to just burn like 520 a day and expect to lose weight? Should I just cut way down on my 1000 calories a day? Or should I exercise first to burn stored calories and THEN eat? Or should I eat first and then exercise. . ? Please please im so desperate right now. Please no ignorant answers or advertisements. Please. . Well, I have your answer. Don't try to burn off the same amount of calories as you eat–that's basically the same thing as starving yourself, which is NEVER a good decision for trying to lose weight. You should eat 1200-1500 calories per day and burn off whatever you can (without over-doing it.). The ideal time to workout is early in the morning before breakfast, but even if you run in the evening or any time in-between, you'll still get results.

Will texas medicaid pay for weight loss programs. After speaking to others on the web, I found the answer. The answer for Texas appears to be – No. In February of 2007 the Texas Health and Human Services Commission looked into Medicaid reform strategies that would include payment for weight loss through Enhanced Benefit Accounts but I don't think the proposals were implemented. In 29 states, pharmaceutical products indicated strictly for the treatment of obesity and weight loss are specifically excluded from state Medicaid programs, while in nine states – Alaska, California, Kentucky, Montana, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin – anti-obesity and weight loss pharmaceutical products are covered. Best to check with your Texas human services department

I was thinking about a "starch-free" (not all carbs) diet; giving up rice, bread, pasta, baked goods, etc. . Will I see rapid weight loss resultant from this sort of a diet. I think I found an answer. Eliminate fatty foods, such as carbs and sugars. Stick with salads and fruit and vegetables. Heathly and for the most part low in calories. Eliminate sugary drinks such as all types of sodas and juices. Stick with water mostly.
